The Fibre Company's Lowther, designed by Lotta H Lothgren, is a versatile cardigan for all genders. It is knitted seamlessly from the top-down with short-row set-in sleeves and an elegant twisted stitch detail used on the shoulders, sleeves, back and front edges.

YARN:
The Fibre Co. Cumbria Fingering (60% merino wool, 30% masham wool, 10% mohair; 300 m (328 yd) per 100g hank) in shade – Isel 4 [5: 5: 6: 6: 7: 8: 8: 9] hanks. Our yardage given includes enough to knit an 8” x 8” tension swatch.

NEEDLES:
1 pair 3mm (US 2.5) needles
3mm (US 2.5) circular needle or double-pointed needles for working a small circumference in the round
1 pair 3.5mm (US 4) needles (or size to obtain gauge)
3.5mm (US 4) circular needle or double-pointed needles for working a small circumference in the round (or size to obtain gauge)

TENSION/GAUGE:
25 sts and 31 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over st st after blocking using 3.5mm (US 4) needles.
