The Fibre Co. Arranmore Light - Fell Garth II: St. Bega, designed by Emma Welford, is a simple cowl that features beautiful knitted tucks so it sits just right when worn. It is worked in the round in one piece, with integrated tucks.
YARN:
The Fibre Co. Arranmore Light (80% merino wool, 10% cashmere, 10% silk, 300 m (328 yd) per 100g hank) in Slieve Sunset – 1 hank.
You’ll also need smooth scrap yarn in a contrasting colour for the lifelines.
NEEDLES:
3.75mm (US 5) 40 cm (16 in) circular needle.
3.75mm (US 5) straight / double point or cable needle for tucks.
TENSION/GAUGE:
21 sts and 35 rnds to 10 cm (4 in) measured over st st worked in the rnd using 3.75mm (US 5).
GARMENT MEASUREMENTS:
Length: 64 cm (25 in)
Width: 19 cm (7.5 in)
