Felted Sky Foam Mats

Felted Sky Foam Mats are a very useful tool to use with your felting projects. Most people who are new to felting choose to start on foam to keep costs down while they are just trying it out. Keep in mind a firm foam mat will hold up awhile (depending on the types of projects you're doing) but will need to be replaced once it starts to break down.

Each mat size is a firm two inches thick.

The 5 inch square mat is nice for small projects. If you're making felted hearts or acorns or little mushrooms, this is definitely as big as you need. Is also a great travel sized mat if you like to take small projects along with you to work on away from home.

The 10 inch square mat is really a nice all around size for most projects. This is the size we recommend for our painting with wool kits and coloring with wool kits which get framed in a 7 inch embroidery hoop.
